Every morning, Mochi sits on daddy's lap while Mini sits in the cubbyhole next to Maple. Pepper likes to sit in front of the backdoor window to watch birds & squirrels in the garden.

I was tagged by @beau_theshihtzu to post my 11th photo: this is Indy, my sister's Rottweiler puppy, when he was about 4 months old. Now he's full grown and weighs over 120 lbs.!

#throwbackthursday I was tagged by @taylartot to post my 20th photo: this is me & my late Bulldog Pogo. I don't remember what year this photo was tajen but it was after Pogo had plastic surgery to have the wrinkle around his nose removed because of infection.

I'm a proud mommy of these four beautiful furbabies. Not an ideal shot but since they're all looking a the camera, I'm happy. Happy Mother's Day to me & all moms out there!

#flashbackfriday #repost Joy (my late shih-tzu) & Pogo (my late bulldog) were BFF from the start. When they met, Joy was about 15 years old, blind & deaf; Pogo was a clueless, energetic 3 months old puppy. Pogo was always by Joy's side, being his best friend and protector. See how Pogo's side of the basket is stretched out and frayed? That's because Pogo literally grew up cuddling with Joy. I miss them so much but sweet memories like this one always makes me smile (and tear-up occasionally).

I don't usually do 2 sunset pics in a row but this is worth sharing: The beauty of living in Southern California is that the sky can go from gray to colorful in a matter of minutes. Can you believe that this is the exact location of the previous photo about 10 minutes later? Welcome to Southern California!

#throwbackthursday Pepper & Maple playing tug-of-war when they were about 6 months old. They used to make lots of noise when they played and Mochi always kept them quiet by barking at them.

It was mostly cloudy today with special appearance of the sun here and there throughout the day.

The sun was being extra shy today, hiding behind layers of clouds.

The morning after the rain is always a bit chilly. Poor Mochi was shivering outside even with her sweater on but I just had to take a picture of this shivering cutie before letting her inside the house. Do you blame me?
