Horizontals || Sometimes the best views are the oddest like this Manhattan Bridge sandwich complete with a white puffy cloud in just the right spot.

Taxicab confessions || it was all good timing to get a crop like this in front of the classically designed main post office.

Brick oven bridge || Anytime I can get a different view of something I see everyday is a good time for me. Picking up my race-day credentials for the Brooklyn Half Marathon brought me to the incredible Old Tobacco Warehouse in DUMBO with it's open ceiling and arched windows and this amazing view of the Brooklyn Bridge.

A most humble me || Under a glorious NYC sky, I feel small.
43
Everyone needs a platform || I step off the M train last evening to the most perfect moment of a retiring day and all I could do was kneel at its alter and click.
44
Under construction || Both me and the city are, that is. This is the development area on 10th Av at the Hudson Yards where the final stretch of the High Line is being constructed as well as oodles of new residential and office towers. The city that never sleeps is also the city that reinvents its neighborhoods while honoring classic NYC icons.

Sandy, 6mo later || It's been a while since my last Superstorm Sandy update. In case you haven't dug back in my feed, my mom's house was devastated by Sandy on the south shores of Long Island. While it's been an uphill push, her home is nearing the end of renovations that will allow her to return, host our family functions again and begin building new memories. This image is special because it is her room, beautifully crafted and awaiting her restful head. It is also the room my father passed away in some 21 years ago so it's symbolism here is unmatched by any other shot I could've chosen. Thank you all for asking and shortly we will close one chapter and start a new volume.

Stand clear of the closing doors || It's back to the grind we go. Let there be light.

No matter where you go, there you are. || Happy Mothers Day to all you moms in the world. Respect.

Spring showers || It's the beauty of the close up. Here's something a little different for today. Enjoy the day.

Me and my city.

All good things || See 7 photos ago...

The power of one || I'm sure I'm in more than one photo in places ogling a fine piece of architecture. I don't blame him and, in fact, thank him for not moving and making the shot.

The sky, she was angry that day || Meeow, woof-woof...that's all I heard falling from the sky.

A tree grows || I'll leaf this one to your imagination and let your thoughts branch out so you can come to your own conclusion about the root of this image.

Arepa, arepa! || If you're in the mood for some amazing arepas, head to Caracas in Williamsburg on Grand between Roebling and Havemeyer. Aside from fantastic arepas, the chips and guacamole are scrumdilliumcious!
39
Red Square || Ok, so we're not in Moscow but this alley in eastern Long Island caught my artistic attention. The red squares along with the light- vs dark-halved walkway makes for a bit of symbolism.

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port
Aboard this tiny ship. || 'Twas a beautiful sunset over Port Jefferson, Long Island.
47
Baby, you're a firework || This photograph is exactly how spring in the city feels to me with the sun casting shadows, bright colors bursting, things blooming and less clothes necessary. Plus, it's Friday.

Can I get a witness? || No matter where or when, if I'm walking with you don't be surprised if I put on the brakes when my lady needs attention. Don't take it personally, it's just a what happens in a love affair. More of my ESB pics -> #artboy11211_esb

Eye see you || Not only is @napoleongroup the leader of post production services in art, test, audio and broadcast video and is the only place I go, Tonia at the front desk is amazing and funny, plus, she played along. If you want customized service and a top-notch facility, Prez @dougmillz will not disappoint. Tell 'em Johnny sen'cha.

Stay golden || Low sun + urban nature + iconic architecture = this
67
Happy trails || The po-po use whatever means necessary to rid the streets of Gotham from unwanted, uhm, wildlife.
36
And you may ask yourself
Where does that highway go? || Once in a Lifetime
38
Track work || For those NYers who travel and those visiting NYC (with manageable baggage), the Airtrain from JFK to Jamaica Station is the way to go. $5 gets you to the Long Island Railroad plus $7 (off peak) or $9.50 (peak) gets you to Penn Station. That beats the $52 flat fee plus tip taxi ride from JFK to Manhattan. Work it.

Texmex || Because I'm a sucka for Mexican food, I was in my glory in good ol' Houston. Now, I'm back home and thinking about, well, Mexican for dinner. Why? Because, I Mexi-can.
22
Stop || My time in Tayxaaaas has come to an end. NYC open your arms because here I come!
